Classroom Management

Attached are several files that I use in my classroom to assist with Classroom Management. Feel free to download and alter files for personal use.

 

Classroom Rules (pdf file)
Classroom Behavior Chart (xls file)
I use this to keep a daily record of classroom behavior.
Parking Lot Discipline Signs (pdf file)
I use the Parking Lot as home base, green as a warning, yellow as a note home, red as a call home. The children move their "cars" to each color for inappropriate behavior.
Blank Behavior Cars (pdf file)
I laminate these and then put the children's name on them with a fine sharpie.

This is more for the younger children...
The Peaceful Place (pdf file)
I learned this from a pre-school teacher and tweaked it for my first graders. They have really learned to discuss problems as they arise, and I have seen a lot less Tattle-Telling.
Peaceful Place Floor Signs (pdf file)
I tape these to the floor for the children to stand on. The decisions sticks are basically popsicle sticks that say either listen or speak.
Peaceful Place Sign (pdf file)
I tape this to the wall at the designated Peaceful Place.
Peaceful Place Student Instructions (pdf file)
I tape this to the wall under the Peaceful Place Sign.
